Day 2 : Qadisha Valley in magnificent nature, the convent of Qozhaya dating back to the 8th century, Bshaare, a typical mountain village, the thousand year old cedars of Lebanon. And Tripoli, "St Gilles", the crusaders citadel, the grand mosque, the medieval souk.
Day 3 : Bekaa Valley, the magnificent Baalbeck overwhelming legacy of the Romans which is said to be the 8th wonder of the world. Anjar, the vineyards and winery of Ksara.
Day 4 : Byblos, archaeological excavation site, walk in the souks, visit of the old port, Basilica of St John the Baptist. Beirut, St George's cathedral, St Louis of the French, the restored quarters, Pigeons grotto, the National Museum.
Day 5 : Sidon, the castle in the sea, the medieval souks, the caravanserai. Tyre, roman amphitheatre, traces of the Byzantine empire.
Day 6 : Damascus, the mosque of the Omayades, the Palace of Azm, Via Recta, the "Hamadiye" souks, the house of Ananias.
Day 7 : Palmyra, wonderful Roman city built in an oasis in the middle of the desert.
Day 8 : Aleppo, the citadel, the Christian quarters, the souk, well known for its artefacts.
Day 9 : The "Krack of the Knights", the pride of the crusaders, the most imposing fortress of the Middle East.
Day 10 : Free day in Lebanon.
Day 11 : Transfer to Beirut airport.
